Designed to fit seats that measure 16", 18", or 20 inches wide on a wheelchair or transport chair. The Atlas Wheelchair Lift eliminates the requirement for wheelchair users to get in and out of their vehicles and gives them the option to stay in their wheelchairs while using the stair climbing chair lift. About 53 pounds in weight, the Atlas needs a 44 by 44-inch landing area for executing a complete 90-degree turn.

It is advised that the operator receive enough training in using the stairlift and first practice descending stairs without a passenger in order to prevent damage.
